Channeling the dual influences of his family’s native Colombia and his UK upbringing, Florentino’s productions combine the low frequency pressure of contemporary UK club music with the vivid sound palette of Latin America.
Following previous vocal collaborations with Ms Nina and Bad Gyal on his 2018 EP Fragmentos, ”Na Fuga”, finds Florentino teaming with Brazilian baile funk star MC Bin Laden and Barcelona-via-Brazil MC Buzzz (FKA MC Buseta) for a furious grime-meets-baile anthem, set to gruff vocals, revving engines, and stabbing strings.
