Atlanta-based rapper Darryl Richards, better known as Lil Scrappy, is responsible for singles such as “Money In The Bank,” “No Problem,” “Neva Eva” and “Gangsta Gangsta.” Lil Jon discovered Scrappy half a decade ago and together they were two of the forerunners of the Crunk movement. Eventually, Scrappy and Lil Jon parted ways and Scrappy moved on to work with several other labels, finally landing on the Ludacris’ record label Disturbing tha Peace. Between deals, he set up his own label called G’s Up Records, a platform for new and upcoming artists on it such as Pooh Baby, Young Vet and Black Rag Gang. After his first two studio albums, it has been a little quiet on the Scrappy front, but he’s scheduled to make a big return this year. He’s working on his third studio album “Tha Grustle”, which will be released on Ludacris’ label. On his new Dre Skull-produced single, Look At Me, Scrappy is back with a hard, existential club banger that’s sure to induce scrunch-face. Look at me!
