A lot of the recent vocal Grime CDs have been full of a Grime/Pop hybrid that doesn’t really do anything for me, they are too diluted for Grime and not commercial enough for Pop. Thankfully there are a new batch of MCs who are keeping things 100% Grime. Merky Ace, Kozzie, Rival, Marger and Scrufizzer are the MCs that stand out from the rest of the newcomers and Rival – Return of the Rivz is the first CD out to buy from any of them.
