We released Murlo & Famous Eno’s grime track ‘Ariel’ (and the accompanying VIP video) last month. To celebrate, they were on London’s NTS Radio with Serocee & Trigganom for a one hour, one-off special. You can now listen back to the show via Eno’s soundcloud and try to identify as many weird grime tracks as you can. Watch out for some forthcoming Mixpak material hidden in the mix!

Famous Eno & Serocee have also put their touch to the Afrobeats smash ‘The Thing’, which they’re giving away as a free download, get it!

Next week we’re throwing an unofficial CMJ party with Mr Vegas & Ricky Blaze all the way from Jamaica! This one will be a madness, free all night by RSVP only – RVSP to mixpakpresents@gmail.com. Facebook event is here.

We’re happy to announce our next single release from London producer Palmistry – ‘Catch’, dropping on October 22nd. ‘Catch’ will be his first official solo release, following a collaboration with London-Cantonese MC Vinh Ngan in 2012.

Watch out for the full stream and official video landing on 22nd. For our London family – the launch party will be at The Waiting Room on October 17th, full details here.

Last week we dropped ‘Everything Nice’, the first single from Popcaan’s forthcoming album. To celebrate, we had a very special edition of Mixpak Sound System on our regular Radio Lily slot. Live from Jamaica, Mixpak fam Max Glazer interviewed Popcaan – talking about the record and what to expect from the upcoming tracks. An hour of exclusive audio!

Melé Vanelé: Volume 2

As you probably know from his previous releases on Mixpak or from our interview, Melé is into his computer games. After dropping his first Melé Vanelé mixtape to great fanfare last year, the sequel has landed. A bit like his DJ sets, the mixtape jumps through rattling rap instrumentals, grime, dark hardcore-influenced tracks and, of course, that much-sought-after D.M.X re-version.
