Next week we’re back partying with our friends at Trouble & Bass at Verboten! We’re hosting the Cabaret room, and for the occasion we’re bringing in a special guest all the way from the UK (we can’t say much yet but they’re Mixpak fam!). We’ll also have Jersey’s own Mike Gip, False Witness as well as Mixpak hometeam Dre Skull & The Large, and the room hosted by Princess Nokia!

‘Love Yuh Bad’, the second single from Popcaan’s album dropped yesterday via our brand new Popcaan site. We will be constantly updating the site, which includes all info and news on the album “Where We Come From”, including producer profiles, Popcaan bio, and an essay by musicologist Wayne Marshall:

“Love Yuh Bad” is the second single off of Popcaan’s much anticipated debut album, Where We Come From, which will be released on June 10th via Mixpak. Hot on the heels of the lead single “Everything Nice,” this sultry and energetic second single is a love song for the dance. Produced by Dre Skull (who also serves as the album’s executive producer), “Love Yuh Bad” pairs Popcaan’s signature melodiousness and catchy rhythmic flow with skipping percussion and driving strings. It wouldn’t be a Popcaan album without a wining song and “Love Yuh Bad” fully delivers the goods.
