Jubilee – JMZ Riddim Out Now!

We’re excited to say we’ve just dropped Jubilee’s new release ‘JMZ Riddim’, exclusively available in the Mixpak store!

Following up from her critically acclaimed Miami themed ‘Pull Ova’ release, Jubilee’s second Mixpak EP for 2014 takes inspiration from her current surroundings – Brooklyn. With an original mix that draws on BK’s dancehall and reggaeton heritage and two remixes from the mysterious Thundridge that go deeper into spaced-out dub for the club, Jubilee brings yet more sounds to blast from your South Side drop top.

‘Love Yuh Bad’, the second single from Popcaan’s album dropped yesterday via our brand new Popcaan site. We will be constantly updating the site, which includes all info and news on the album “Where We Come From”, including producer profiles, Popcaan bio, and an essay by musicologist Wayne Marshall:

Popcaan – ‘Love Yuh Bad’ Out Now

“Love Yuh Bad” is the second single off of Popcaan’s much anticipated debut album, Where We Come From, which will be released on June 10th via Mixpak. Hot on the heels of the lead single “Everything Nice,” this sultry and energetic second single is a love song for the dance. Produced by Dre Skull (who also serves as the album’s executive producer), “Love Yuh Bad” pairs Popcaan’s signature melodiousness and catchy rhythmic flow with skipping percussion and driving strings. It wouldn’t be a Popcaan album without a wining song and “Love Yuh Bad” fully delivers the goods.
