Mixpak FM 081 comes from New Orleans based producer & DJ, Kilbourne. Born in Philly and raised in New Jersey, Kilbourne has that East Coast club sound on lock. Exploring the interactions between the club underground and pop music, Kilbourne has recently delivered Jersey remixes of Fetty Wap, Makonnen and The Weeknd, as well as collaboration tracks with Rizzla, Shwarz and DJ 809. Often industrial, and sometimes dark her productions are always club-friendly. Watch out for her US tour and upcoming work with NY producer, FXWRK.
Her Mixpak FM is not for the faint-hearted – an energetic run through some hard club sounds, including remixes of Caribbean artists Kerwin Du Bois, Zoelah, as well as rave re-visionings of pop & rap hits, and nods to NY club affiliates False Witness, Joey Labeija & Cueheat.

Though currently finishing up his graduate studies in Contemporary Art Practice with an emphasis on Sound Installation, this 3-track EP keeps the focus strictly on the club. Drawing from the foundational Fever Pitch riddim that now operates like an island version of the Amen Break, the release sees Wildlife! adeptly melding the DNA of Caribbean music through-the-ages with a more industrial and minimalist club aesthetic. The end result is a 140bpm haven where bubbling, dembow, grime and the ghosts of dancehall and rap can all rave together. Sometimes dark and always tuff, it’s the track names that say it all – these are weapons for a sweaty dancefloor.
