Mount Kimbie – Blind Night Errand

South Central’s (sorry, South LA’s) finest Nipsey Hu$$le has promised his Twitter buddies new tracks for every couple thousand followers he gets. Savvy dude. He’s just hit 56k, and to celebrate he has blessed us with this freestyle on Yeezy’s Runaway beat. Is there any limit on Twitter followers? Next single is at 70k, so get joining!

Bonjay does Caribou

In (heavy, intense, extreme) anticipation of their October 5th “Broughtupsy” album, Bonjay gives us this fantastic cover of Caribou’s ‘Jamelia’. A hauntingly catchy two-step riddim with Alanna’s genre-redefining vocals laid on top of it, this track is perfect for smoke machine filled dancefloors in the early hours of the morning. And as far as I’m concerned, holy cow, there’s no better way to welcome a new day.

Nothing like Vegas telling us how much he loves his homeland, sweet Jamaica. Check this brand new remix featuring Shaggy and Josey Wales each killin’ the verses.

The Parking Lot Movie

If you are a fan of documentaries, you need to check out Meghan Eckman’s new documentary The Parking Lot Movie on parking lot attendant’s in Charlottesville, Virginia .

Hailed as the “most feel-good film” of the South by Southwest Film Festival, director Meghan Eckman’s irreverently funny debut celebrates a brotherhood of eccentric attendants who man a unique parking lot in Charlottesville, Virginia. From grad students to middle-age slackers, indie-rock musicians to surly philosophers, these overeducated part-timers wax profoundly about car culture and capitalism, seek vengeance against entitled patrons and thieves, and make fun of drunken jerks.

Check out other clips and deleted scenes on their Youtube channel and grab The Parking Lot Movie on DVD.
