This is one of the biggest voicings on the biggest riddims of the year, Seanizzle‘s ‘One Day’. In the video, G truly shows us what’s swaggarific: children on motorbikes, grown men on rollerskates and balancing drinks on the back of your hand. Watch out for it rolling into ‘Beat Them Bad’ on the Split Personality riddim around 2:22.

Check this great new track from promising young Bay Area rapper Rell P. Produced by Trevor Case, ‘Stepping into Tomorrow’ flips a CLASSIC Donald Byrd sample taken from the 1974 track/LP of the same name (memorably remade by fellow Cali producer Madlib a few years ago on his Blue Note Project Shades of Blue).

Suncycle crew member Lady Chann has been running things lately – what with her voicings with Warrior One, Sticky, her Dun Dem Season mixtape, and the latest great addition, ‘Rally Back Now’ on the Showa Eski riddim straight out of JA. Now she teams up with fellow Suncycle member, Dolamite, on this track, ‘Nubian King’. It’s got those crazy Ayoba chants, Dolamite’s rumbling bass vocal alongside Chann’s slick-as-ever voice.
