Boogat – Esa Mujer

This track from Montreal’s Boogat has been knocking around for a few months and finally sees its release today on Poirier’s Also Records. Esa Mujer fuses his latin influences, reggaeton and a big bass with foundation dancehall tune, ‘No No No’. Yes yes yes.

Sweden’s Million Vibes has put together this 55-track mix of recordings from Jamaican legend and Mixpak fam, Sizzla, running mostly through his rootsy, conscious and one drop tunes. The man has recorded an incredible amount of songs in his career, so even picking 55 as his best is a test, but Million Vibes definitely pass with flying colours.

Later this month, fresh label, Sneaker Social Club are set to release, ‘Shadower’ / ‘Sanctum’, by producer, Throwing Snow. The video, for the A-side of the single, directed by RuairĂ Dunne, features a collection of cut up found footage from the early rave era. Honestly an incredible tune, with an appropriately suited video to go alongside.

Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard has just dropped this on Greco-Roman (or DFA in the U.S.), a soulful house track with vocals from Valentina and a mesmerizing accompanying video. Now you can add this one to the growing list of impressive and melancholic dance tracks entitled Gabriel.
