Mishka Review Kingston Story

NY clothing dons Mishka review Vybz Kartel’s Kingston Story LP, released on Mixpak back in June.

Kingston Story contains all the writing abilities of Vybz Kartel and all the composing talent of Dre Skull to create excellent crossover material. I definitely have newfound respect for Vybz Kartel’s music after listening to this, and I’m really looking forward to more Dre Skull full length work like this one.

King Midas Sound Documentary

Leading up to the release of their second album this November, King Midas Sound (aka The Bug, Kiki Hitomi and Roger Robinson) have let loose this two-part documentary on their sound and a sneak peak at their live shows. Watch out for ‘Without You’, featuring Mala, Flying Lotus and Kode9 coming on Hyperdub this fall.
