Last year, Popcaan helped us take the trophy at Red Bull Culture Clash in London, against Wiz Khalifa, UKG AllStars and Wiley’s Eskimo Dance. He’s now coming to the US for the first time to represent for team Unruly in Atlanta. He’ll be going up against Disturbing London, Mike Will Made It and Wondagurl. We’re very excited to announce the signing of Manchester-based producer, Florentino. Drawing on a range of influences from his time spent in his family’s native Colombia, and his home in the UK, his music combines the low frequency pressure of contemporary UK club music and the vivid sonic palette of Latin America.
From melodic slow jams to hi octane percussive club killers, a rugged romanticism always reigns supreme. Florentino makes mutant reggaeton with a ruffneck UK attitude – bold, unconventional and instantly recognizable.
