Hot on the heels of his last big edit, Busy Signal’s Real $penders, SF’s DJ Theory brings a remix of this year’s Soca Monarch, Machel Montano, and his carnival track, ‘Mr Fete’. Theory flips the 160bpm original into what he coins ‘sloca’, a paired down and lilting edit, dropping out the synths for a little more bass.
Mixpak artists Popcaan and Poirier are featured in the latest issue of No Ice Cream Sound, a print dancehall zine out of London run by Mixpak fam Suze.
