Ok, so it’s not exactly a vintage video, this is a brand new documentary about Yo MTV Raps, the first and best show to bring hip hop to commercial television. Hear the creators, the participators, famous fans talk about the legendary show, amongst archive footage. Watching all the original shows is also highly recommended.
Famous Eno has lent his remix skills to Jay Jackson’s chinese-influenced 3ball track ‘Le Chinois’, released on Brussels’ Low Up Records last month. Eno draws in Serocee for the job, flipping the original track into a bassed-out whistle-driven dancehall hitter.
