This is a GTA style animation for Orange Hill Production’s electro-bashment track, “Pon Time.” The video imagines Vybz as an international man of action, harassed by ninjas on his yacht, shot down in a helicopter dog-fight and narrowly escaping thugs in an Aston Martin dropped from an airplane. Vybz, naturally, does it all with a woman on his arm and just an Orange Hill t-shirt on for armor. Check out Orange Hill’s Soundcloud for a thunderous “Pon Time” remix from Wideboys and stay tuned for Part 2.

Shout out Teki Latex for naming Koyote one of his five French producers to watch in last month’s edition of DJ Mag:
Cinematic, thought-provoking, sometimes clearly dancefloor-oriented, other times wonky and undanceable, Koyote’s music remains fresh and unique
This Saturday Poirier will be at the first ever Pier Party at the Old Port in Montreal as part of POP MTL. If you’re Quebec way, get yourself prepared with this mix, if not, close your eyes and imagine you’re eating poutine and vibing to this live.
This month’s Mixpak chart comes from one of our favorite JA vocalists, Natalie Storm, who featured on Mixpak releases ‘Look Pon Me’ and ‘Rock The Runway’.
I’m a little sad that I could only choose 10. I have so many songs that I’m feeling right now from both the past and the present. Unfortunately, I can only choose 10 so here’s my 10 songs that still make an impact whenever I listen to them.
1. Trailer Load (Girls Girls) – Shabba Ranks
This song was one of the first songs I knew the words to (well almost). I used to sing my own childish version of the lyrics.
